Driver – Water Truck
Water truck drivers drive the water truck which is used to keep the grinding machines always supplied with water. (A grinder is a machine equipped with a series of blades underneath it, used to grind a layer of concrete on new and existing roadways). A water truck driver will fill up the water truck with water from a specified source/location and drive it to fill the grinder on the project site. Once there, the water truck driver will use the boom to fill the tank of the grinder.
This position require extended travel and stays out of state. All openings are subject to a pre-employment drug screen, a pre-employment background check, and motor vehicle records check.

- Must have a current DOT physical card
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to maintain elogs, complete inspections, and fuel reports (for driving positions)
- Ability to make a good decision in difficult situations
- Knowledge of job specific safety practices
- You will be frequently asked to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools or controls and reach with hands/arms
- Ability to life 50lbs or more as needed
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stay with equipment for long periods of time
- Ability to climb or crawl on equipment occasionally and on the ground to work on equipment
- Outside environment, exposure to all weather conditions and temperature extremes. Site specific exposure to various materials requiring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Noise levels are site specific and may be subject to PPE.
