Someone in this role would typically have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and five (5) years of experience. This position can be hired at any level in our professional career framework, depending on business need at the time of hire.
**International travel may be required. Straight time overtime, 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off), and/or 1 day of telework per week may be available**.
REQUIRED:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Experience with design, development, integration, and testing of complex avionics systems.
- Planning - organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership in roles with formal and informal authority, in large engineering teams.
- Written and oral Communication - clear, concise, organized, and convincing communication for the intended audience.
- Excellent organizational skills and expert in use of MS Office tools.
- Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings.
- Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision.
- Experience working in a team environment.
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of Flight Hardware and/or Flight Processes/Paperwork.
- Experience with NASA processes.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
