Condustrial Inc. is seeking a reliable Boom Truck Operator to join our team.
We need a reliable certified operator to hang large road signs along highways and assist in installing guard rails. Employee is not only expected to operate but be a part of the installation crew! You will be working mostly in the Columbia/Orangeburg area but MUST be able to travel when needed.
Shifts are Monday-Friday beginning at 6pm, expect up to 50 working hours per week. The ideal candidate would be a CDL Driver with Boom Crane Operator experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate a truck equipped with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and position materials at various job sites.
- They are responsible for the safe operation of the boom truck and the materials being transported.
- Assist the rest of the crew with the installation of guard rails and posting highway signs
- CDL - Drive the truck to and from work sites safely
Basic Qualifications:
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances, rules involved in equipment operation, hazards and applicable safety rules and precautions for heavy equipment operation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to do physically demanding tasks
- Able/willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work nights, and travel out of town when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous boom crane operator experience
- NCCCO Certification
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
Pay: $25 for Operator ONLY, $30 for CDL with Boom Crane operator experience
