<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations within our organization. This pivotal role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial planning. <Duties>
- Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing using advanced accounting software with QuickBooks, & Paychex.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliation processes to maintain precise financial records and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and account analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making initiatives.
- Prepare regulatory reports for government agencies, ensuring adherence to governmental accounting standards and reporting deadlines.
- Supervise cash management activities including cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and bank reconciliations to optimize working capital.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation related to public accounting standards and non-profit or governmental accounting practices where applicable.
- Develop and maintain robust financial report writing processes that clearly communicate financial health to stakeholders at all levels.

- Proven expertise in financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, as well as advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
- Excellent understanding of cash management strategies, payroll processing, regulatory reporting requirements, and general ledger reconciliation procedures.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial management, and technical accounting functions within diverse organizational settings.
- Exceptional communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
