- Address problems beyond the capabilities of routine campground staff
- Determine when specialized contractors are needed
- Coordinate with outside contractors when appropriate
- Document completed work, materials used, and additional needs
- Respond to urgent maintenance situations when required
Year-Round and Project-Based Work
This is a full-time, year-round position, but the type and location of work will change based on current projects and seasonal needs.
During campground season, work will primarily involve skilled maintenance and improvement projects at Tohickon Family Campground and Crazy Horse Campground.
During the off-season or when campground project needs are lighter, the position will support maintenance, renovation, and construction projects through our Pennsylvania-based GO TIME operation.
The workload may include:
- Campground opening and closing projects
- Repairs and emergency maintenance
- Property improvements
- Renovations

- Seasonal projects
- Capital improvement projects
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of professional maintenance, construction, or skilled-trade experience
- Experience in multiple areas of property maintenance or construction
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Ability to evaluate a problem, develop a practical solution, and complete the work
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects
- Dependable attendance and professional communication
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to safely perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Personally owned RV suitable for full-time living
- Ability to use Pennsylvania as the primary home base
- Willingness to travel between Pennsylvania and Illinois
- Ability to remain at either campground for extended periods when projects require it
- Flexibility to respond to seasonal, weekend, and emergency maintenance needs

Trade licenses, certifications, or formal training are valuable but are not required. Broad practical experience, good judgment, reliability, and the ability to independently solve problems are especially important.
Location, RV Living, and Travel
Pennsylvania will serve as the anticipated primary home base. However, traveling between our properties is a fundamental responsibility of this position.
The employee must be willing to travel between Pennsylvania and Illinois and remain at either campground for extended periods when projects require it.
