Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment processes.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, labeling products, and managing stock rotation.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to order processing, inventory updates, and shipment tracking using ERP systems like Rentopian or similar systems.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Assist with quality control checks, packaging, and labeling to meet customer specifications and trade compliance standards.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Basic math skills for counting stock, measuring materials, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting customer service efforts.
- Experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly desirable.
