Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Superintendent to lead and oversee roofing construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Manage vendors, ensuring contractual obligations are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee the application of roofing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs to keep projects financially on track.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, suppliers, and crew members to coordinate construction schedule activities and resolve issues promptly.
- Supervise the review of construction drawings and schematics for accuracy before work begins.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, and inspections.
- Approve hourly field crew timesheets weekly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing roofing or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction site supervision.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing review.
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent crew management skills.
- Experience with construction scheduling and project coordination tools.
- Effective managerial communication skills for supervising personnel and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Construction safety management certification preferred; knowledge of OSHA 30-hour or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Construction drawing review expertise combined with hands-on site experience in commercial roofing projects.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
