Duties
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols and dental sterilization procedures
- Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft.
- Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and safety measures are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures to support comprehensive patient care
- Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive medical documentation and medical records
- Support infection prevention management by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment in line with healthcare infection control standards
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred, especially in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments
- Familiarity with dental terminology, dental equipment, and dental x-ray procedures is highly desirable
- Knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft enhances efficiency in managing patient data
- Hands-on experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection control practices is advantageous
- Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills as a dental receptionist or patient management software user will support excellent patient care delivery

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
