Your place in our story
The Land Finance Manager plays a critical role in evaluating land acquisitions and tracking the financial performance of real estate projects across the United States. The role serves as the lead and super-user for the business systems used by the Land Development team, ensuring best practices and process efficiencies.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
Prepare and review financial models for acquisitions and projects under construction, including cash flow forecasts, sources and uses analyses, and return calculations.
Work with Land Development to integrate key deal components and provide insights into financial performance.
Engage with finance and accounting teams in contract processing, A/P, G/L, budgeting, cash flows, job costing, and reporting.
Create and manage an annual finance calendar ensuring timely deliverables.
Serve as systems leader/super-user for LandDev, InformXL, and NewStar.
Manage LandDev master data setup, maintenance, and monitor system stability.
Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to bridge functionality gaps and develop technical solutions.
Assist in onboarding and training team members on systems and processes.
Maintain training documentation, process manuals, and support ongoing staff development.

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
Strong accounting background in real estate (homebuilding preferred).
Expertise in business systems, data integrity, and process improvement.
Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Power BI, and ERP systems (NewStar and LandDev knowledge a plus).
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
