We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cashier / Cajera to join our vibrant team! Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining quality standards and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols throughout your shift
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and promote special offers or new products
- Support operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly, ensuring smooth food service operations
Experience
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in food handling, serving, and customer service within the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records
- Experience with retail sales transactions and cashier responsibilities in a café or restaurant setting is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
