Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics and distribution team. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will ensure smooth warehouse functions, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with safety and trade regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker equipment.
- Prepare shipments by packaging products securely according to shipping & receiving standards and trade compliance requirements.
- Manage stock levels through stocking activities and update inventory records in ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software.
- Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms by ensuring timely processing of orders.
- Coordinate shipping logistics by scheduling pickups, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper storage procedures.
- Support stock replenishment activities and participate in cycle counts or inventory audits as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and trade compliance standards.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
