This job contributes to Starbucks success by coordinating and supporting all events and conferences at the NYM Office. Assists business units and departments in planning and coordinating all logistics. Events may include Open Forums, Analysts Conferences, Regional Events, the Shareholders' Meeting and other functions as required. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As an office manager, you will…
Act as the primary planning, communications, and logistics contact for all regional events, conferences, and activities, from conception to post-event completion, including development and communication of annual Master Calendar.
Develop and maintains productive, collaborative relationships with all internal and external parties, and manages vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective logistical event services.
Monitor and tracks event expenditures for budgeting purposes, submitting required financial and budget information prior to, during and immediately following assigned events.
Provide on-site logistical direction for all event-related activities and support services before, during and after the assigned event. Communicates support requirements to appropriate department manager or supervisor, and exercises supervision over all other office activities.
Work with internal departments, landlord, and outside vendors to make event-related arrangements, including travel, hotel accommodations, transportation, meeting locations and setup, catering, audiovisual, presentation support, and building access and security arrangements.
Set the tone in creating an uplifting experience for all NYM visitors.
Create a warm & welcoming environment with a sense of belonging through engagement.
Responsible for planning all office day-to-day activities including but not limited to kitchen & meeting room maintenance, front desk duties, mail distribution & ad hoc projects.
Assist with routine projects that support department or functional initiatives.
Sort and distributes mail.
Orders and replenishes department/team supplies.
May serve as a point of contact for departmental inquiries and respond or escalate as appropriate.
May provide some support for administrative tasks such as budgeting, expense reporting and generating reports.
May prepare regional birthday & anniversary recognition, store roster updates, & meeting room calendar management.
Assist with large mailings or distribution of materials.
Provide support for meetings, training, seminars, activities, and preparation for NYM visitors.
May provide calendar support to multiple leaders and/or a team.
May assist with on boarding of new partners including but not limited to office tours, acquiring their access badge, etc.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
