Responsibilities
- Install underground dog fence systems, including wiring, boundary flags, and control units, following detailed specifications and safety standards
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement and ensure system functionality
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing pet containment systems to ensure long-term performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as drills, saws, and welding tools to complete installations efficiently
- Lift heavy materials and equipment safely during installation processes, adhering to proper lifting techniques
- Communicate clearly with pet owners to explain system operation, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines
- Document installation details, service visits, and repairs accurately for record keeping and future reference
Skills
- Experience with construction-related tasks such as framing, concrete forming, masonry, or landscape maintenance is highly beneficial
- Proficiency with carpentry, hardscape installation, or concrete finishing enhances your ability to handle diverse job site requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of welding or assembly techniques can support complex system setups or repairs
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions
