American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

Works in a hospital Emergency Department

11:00–23:30 shift (evenings)
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Epic EMR used; experience required
-
Floating may be required within skill set to other units or to sister sites within 40 miles
-
13-week contract
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
-
Minimum 3 years of ED experience required, or 5+ years in a large ED if no prior travel experience is applicable

Prior travel nursing experience required unless candidate has 5+ years in a large ED setting
-
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address

Two professional references required

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years; optional training available through crisispreventionmanagement.com or learnupon.com
