Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part Time Assistant Director to join our educational leadership team. Duties
- Assist the Director in developing and implementing curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and student needs
- Support fundraising initiatives to enhance school programs and facilities
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts to promote school growth, innovation, and community engagement
- Help manage school budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with regulations
- Supervise faculty and staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development facilitation in schools
- Oversee school administrative functions, including compliance with legal requirements such as special education law and childhood development regulations
- Collaborate on instructional leadership initiatives, including classroom observations, faculty evaluation, and promoting best practices in education
- Support personnel management activities, including hiring, onboarding, and supervising school staff
- Facilitate communication with parents, community stakeholders, and external partners through public speaking engagements and meetings
- Ensure adherence to educational policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements governing K-12 schools
Skills
- Extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership within K-12 or early childhood education settings
- Proven success in fundraising efforts to support educational programs or school initiatives
- Strong strategic planning abilities with a focus on long-term growth and improvement strategies
- Budgeting expertise within an educational context, managing resources effectively as an executive education administrator
- Demonstrated leadership in senior management roles within schools or educational organizations
- Management experience overseeing faculty supervision, personnel management, and team leadership
- Knowledge of school legal frameworks including special education law, childhood development regulations, and compliance standards
- Skilled in facilitating professional development for educators and staff members
- Excellent public speaking skills for engaging with diverse audiences including parents, staff, and community partners
- Classroom teaching experience coupled with a deep understanding of working directly with students across age groups
