Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Position and prepare patients while providing exceptional patient care.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Administer IV contrast when required and monitor patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
- Follow all radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required depending on the facility.
- Current state license where applicable.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience (2+ years preferred at many facilities).
- Experience in emergency, trauma, inpatient, or outpatient settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
