Pure Natur Aveda Salon Spa is a premier lifestyle salon spa located in the Shoppes at St. Clair Square in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Our Guest Services Team is the first and last impression our guests have, and we take that seriously.
THE ROLE
As a Guest Service Representative, you are an essential part of the Guest Services Team — the warm, organized, and reliable presence that keeps the salon running beautifully for guests and service providers alike. You will handle scheduling, greet guests, support retail sales, and ensure every guest touchpoint reflects the Pure Natur standard.
This role reports to the Front Desk Coordinator and the Salon General Manager. Both full-time and part-time schedules are considered.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Guest experience & communication
- Deliver exceptional guest service in every interaction — in person, by phone, and via SMS
- Educate guests on salon and spa services, pricing, and available offerings
- Communicate current promotions and special events clearly and enthusiastically
- Cross-promote services during prebooking, confirmation calls, and guest arrival
- Scheduling & booking support
- Maintain efficient booking practices that support salon and spa productivity goals
- Assist service providers and the Front Desk Coordinator to keep the daily schedule

Retail support
- Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently recommend Aveda retail to guests
- Support Aveda merchandising standards on the retail floor
- Assist guests with retail purchases at checkout
Cash handling & transactions
- Process all payments accurately, including credit card transactions and service provider tips
- Follow all Pure Natur cash handling procedures per the Employee Handbook
Facility & cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness of the spa lobby, retail floor, restrooms, and guest waiting areas
- Maintain storefront and sidewalk appearance throughout your shift
Team & meetings
- Attend daily team huddles and quarterly staff meetings
- Support a positive, solutions-focused team culture

Nice to have -
- Experience with Phorest or similar salon/spa scheduling software
- Prior front desk, hospitality, or retail experience
- Familiarity with Aveda products or a passion for the wellness and beauty industry

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
