Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Machine Operator for the Kansas City, KS Facility.

2nd Shift, Mon - Thur 3pm-1:30am ($21.00/hr)
Machine Operator Primary Responsibilities
- Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
- General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
- Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
- Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and label materials per specific production instructions.
- Operate or assist with machinery such as, but not limited to block cutting, hauling, and wrapping equipment.
- Verify equipment set-up throughout the process; operate and power down manufacturing
- Maintain productivity standards and verify all job requirements of the final products with the correct density, material, weight, size, and shape within given quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements.
- Verify shipping and receiving of all materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
- Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
- Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
- Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
Machine Operator Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
Machine Operator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Problem solving and critical thinking desired
- Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
- Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
Machine Operator Education, Licenses & Certifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
