Exciting opportunity available for an experienced veterinary technician! Fenton River Vet is a fast-paced, progressive, expanding practice located in Stafford Springs, CT. We have recently completed a 5,000 sq ft expansion to help us keep up with our tremendous growth. We are looking for someone who enjoys being a team player in an exciting, upbeat environment working side by side with our fantastic team of veterinarians, technicians and customer service representatives in order to provide our patients with the best care possible. Our practice was built on a foundation of providing exceptional customer service at all times. Although we enjoy teaching, preference will be given to technicians who are experienced with providing routine outpatient care and urgent care services. Desired skills include client communication, assisting with examinations, laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, imaging and hospital care. The ideal candidate would have an upbeat attitude, be hardworking, organized and willing to learn new things. There is also the opportunity to work with all species of animals including pocket pets, reptiles and even goats or sheep, basically anything that walks through the door!
