About the Role
Service and Supply Solutions Company is a well-established local company seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking Shop Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and the ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
2. Clean, prepare, and maintain job sites/shop to ensure safe and efficient operations
3. Operate hand and power tools
4. Assist with general labor tasks as assigned
5. Move materials using wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and other equipment
6. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
7. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule
8. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
Qualifications
1. Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work effectively as part of a team
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
4. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
5. Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate tools and equipment
6. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials
7. Physical stamina to work extended hours in varying weather conditions
8. Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Required Conditions of Employment
1. High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
2. Must be at least 18 years of age
3. Must possess a valid Driver's license.
4. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening & random drug screening during employment
5. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Pay: $15.00 per hour
