Shift Leader – The UPS Store
Location: Eden Prairie, MN (next to Eden Prairie Mall)
Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Part Time (expect 30-35hr/week)
Schedule (some flexibilty):
Mon. 11am-6pm
Tues 11am-6pm
Wed-Fri 9am-3pm
weekends as needed

The UPS Store is your neighborhood business center, providing world-class customer service in shipping, printing, mailbox services, and business solutions. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Shift Leader to help lead our team, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Position Summary
As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for opening or closing the store, leading team members during your shift, assisting customers with shipping and printing needs, and ensuring the store operates efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members during each shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Assist customers with domestic and international shipping, packaging, mailbox services, printing, and other business services.
- Train and coach employees on company procedures and customer service standards.
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Ensure accuracy in shipping, printing, and point-of-sale transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
- Manage workflow to keep wait times low and customers satisfied.
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and Weekends.
