Position Title: Mechanic/Bus Operator (9:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Immediate Supervisor: Supervisor of Transportation/Director of Transportation
Qualifications:
Mechanic
-
Currently Holding Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Passed or able to pass Mechanics test
-
Have or able to acquire Air Brake Certification
-
Have or able to acquire State Inspection License
-
Experience in diagnostic data retrieval from onboard computers of auto and diesel equipment using dedicated scanners and laptop computers.

Ability to lift 60lbs
State Certified Bus Operator
-
Hold Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
-
Complete or have completed the 40 Hours of Classroom Training & Driving Requirements

Hold a valid First Aid/CPR Card
-
Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test

Department of Motor Vehicles Check Completed and Approved

Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators

Ability to lift 50lbs
