Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Caregiver to join our team in,, working Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This vital role involves providing compassionate personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes promptly
- Support clients with medication administration according to care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Use proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques for safe mobility assistance
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support while fostering independence and dignity
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
- Familiarity with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and care planning
- Experience working with individuals with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus
- Ability to perform patient transfers safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and adhere to HIPAA privacy standards
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
