Job Summary
Consumer Cellular is seeking a Lead Boomi Programmer, they will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using Boomi’s integration platform. This individual will lead integration projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our business applications (e.g., NetSuite, SEW, ADP, etc.) are connected efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in enhancing the technical architecture and implementing scalable, secure integration solutions that support Consumer Cellular’s growing needs.
Integration Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration processes using the Boomi platform. Ensure efficient data flows between various business applications, including NetSuite, SEW, and other enterprise systems.- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of Boomi programmers, ensuring that integration projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. Provide technical leadership on integration best practices.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with other IT leaders to define integration architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of integration solutions.
- Solution Design: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design customized solutions that align with business objectives.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide support for existing integrations, identifying issues, resolving bugs, and troubleshooting complex integration problems.
- Process Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization across the organization. Implement efficient integration workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Boomi features and industry best practices. Proactively recommend improvements and new technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, data flows, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and system continuity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, business analysts, and functional departments, to ensure seamless and efficient integration of business systems.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in programming and developing integrations using Boomi.
- Proven experience in leading and managing integration projects, particularly in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and integrating enterprise systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP).
- Hands-on experience with Boomi integration components, including Process, Integration, and API management.
Technical skills
- Expertise in the Boomi platform, including Boomi AtomSphere, connectors, and APIs.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or SQL for data transformation and customization.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and data formats like XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with security practices for data handling and integration.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

Certifications: Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other integration platforms or middleware technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Jitterbit).
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
- Experience in telecom or related industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of business processes in finance, supply chain, or customer relationship management (CRM)
