Overview

Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to uphold sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly
- Operate kitchen equipment like dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety protocols
- Support food preparation activities by organizing supplies and ensuring the availability of clean utensils
- Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards enhances your ability to contribute effectively
- Basic knife skills or experience with food preparation can be beneficial but are not mandatory; training will be provided if needed

Pay: $24.45 - $29.44 per hour
