American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Joint Commission Accredited hospital in Clyde, NC, requiring at least 2 years of OR circulating experience and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications.

Work in a 6-suite OR department (6 OR suites, 1 CSOR) at a 154-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital on the first floor

Surgical specialties include orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, urology, plastics, spine, podiatry, ENT, and ophthalmology
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Day shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
-
36-hour work week
-
On-call requirements: 2nd call one weekend per month; 1st/2nd call twice per pay period

Weekends are variable with on-call expectations
-
No floating required
-
EMR: Paragon
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required

ADN or higher required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

OR circulating is the primary responsibility of this role

Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills and flexibility

Orientation is conducted bi-weekly

Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

Located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville and within driving distance of the Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg
