KIDDIE ACADEMY of Morrisville is seeking an Assistant Director for our 5 Star Academy. The scheduled hours for this position are Monday- Friday (9-6 pm). The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others in a team environment.
Assistant Director Qualifications:
BA/BS or AA/AAS in Early Education or Child Development preferred. An unrelated degree will be considered if you have North Carolina Credentials and an additional 12 semester hours in early childhood or child development coursework. Child Care Administration Credentials I, II, or III also preferred.
CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Playground Safety certified desired.
Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the child care center which include but are not limited to the following:
- Process Enrollment Paperwork
- Maintain Child and Staff Files
- Supervise Staff
- Create a Staff Schedule
- Assist in Classrooms
- Observe and Evaluate Staff
- Oversee Implementation of Curriculum
- Coordinate Programs and Special Visitors
- Provide Staff Training
- Tour Perspective Families
- Explain Center Policies, Fees, Regulations, and Curriculum
- Answer Parent Questions and Concerns
- Ensure Licensing, Sanitation, and Fire Inspection Checks are Complete
