What you’ll do
- Greet and welcome guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent guest services.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Wine Knowledge is a must.
- Knowledge in higher end cocktails is a must.
- ABC Certification.
Preferred qualifications
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of guest relations and hospitality best practices.
