Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service excellence
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure staff are well-informed about company policies and store procedures
- Implement effective merchandising strategies and pricing policies to maximize sales opportunities
- bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Supervise shift schedules, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels
- Drive marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and customer engagement
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management with strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, sales management, inventory management, and operational oversight
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math for financial accuracy
- Supervising experience within retail industry sales teams is preferred; familiarity with grocery or wireless sales is a plus
- Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and maintain high standards of customer service
- Knowledge of retail math, merchandising, stock management, and operational procedures necessary for store success
