Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of flooring materials. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering high-quality flooring solutions that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse flooring types, including hardwood, vinyl, tile, and carpet, while honing your craftsmanship and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Demo existing floors and haul away old material
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments to ensure proper installation.
- Install various flooring materials such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, carpet, and laminate with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring components according to specifications.
- Follow building installation safety and cleanliness compliance protocols to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites and in homes.
- Collaborate with project manager and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects within quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring installation or related building material installation.
- Skilled in handling hand tools and power tools used in flooring projects such as caulking guns, saws, drills, and sanders.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics related to flooring layouts.
- Experience with tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, and carpet installation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with building material handling practices including manual handling techniques for heavy or bulky materials. Heavy lifting is required.
- Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex installations.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
