Job Summary:
Ford certified technician to properly diagnose and repair customer vehicles. This is also a leadership role to help mentor the next generation of ford technicians.
Compensation and Scheduling:
- Sign on bonus for Ford Certified Technician
- $30 - $40 Flat Rate Hour based on experience and certifications
- Weekly hour guarantee
- Monday through Friday Choice Schedule
Responsibilities:
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Request necessary parts
- Fix Right the First Time processes
- Perform quality checks to assure that repair and maintenance work meets dealership and manufacturer standards
- Test vehicles both before and after repair
- Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications
Requirements:
- Previous Ford Technician Experience
- Ford Certifications in progress or complete
- Must have a positive attitude and looking to be an active part of the team
