Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support.
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care aligned with health regulation policies and best practices in senior and assisted living facilities.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Manage daily operations related to residential care home or group home settings, including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress, incident reports, and care activities using Microsoft Office tools for accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and disability services standards through regular audits and staff training.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, families, and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive support services for residents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing home administration, assisted living or residential care home management, with a strong background in long-term care regulations and health policy knowledge.
- Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia support, and memory care strategies.
- Supervisory experience managing care facility teams, demonstrating leadership and effective management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational management within senior living or nursing home environments.
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and disability services standards.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to resident-centered care.
