- Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform assembly of various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harness, subassemblies, final assemblies.
- Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies
- Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructional media.
- Mix and apply various potting compound to assemblies/connectors.
- Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and various cleaning procedures; this may require using microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high-resolution equipment.
- Be responsible for testing, monitoring, and utilizing soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeter, and hi-pot equipment.
- Must understand high reliability soldering specifications, obtain and maintain certifications and assemble and inspect assemblies to IPC J-STD Requirements.
- Know and follow applicable ESD procedures.
- Work in a team environment.
