Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pre K Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will oversee the development and implementation of a high-quality pre-kindergarten curriculum, foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, and ensure the program’s compliance with all licensing, and accreditation standards. As a leader in education administration, you will collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to promote early childhood development and create an engaging, safe space where young learners thrive. Your strategic vision and management expertise will drive the success of our preschool program while supporting the growth of both students and staff.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive pre-kindergarten curriculum aligned with educational standards and best practices in early childhood education
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program reach, enhance educational quality, and foster community engagement
- Manage program budgets, oversee resource allocation
- Supervise teaching staff and administrative personnel, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities
- Oversee classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all students
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, public speaking engagements, and parent involvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements
- Represent the program at community events, conferences, and public forums to promote early childhood education initiatives
- Overseeing the Pre-K grant
Experience
- Proven experience in education administration or leadership within early childhood or preschool settings
- Extensive classroom teaching experience with young children in diverse learning environments
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged students
- Strong background in strategic planning, management, budgeting
- Supervising or managing teams of educators or administrative staff with a focus on professional growth and performance excellence
- Knowledge of licensing requirements for early childhood programs and familiarity with accreditation processes
- Knowledge and experience in focus
- Experience/knowledge of the Pre-K grant

Pay: $28.84 - $31.25 per hour
