Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven experienced Corporate Event Sales Manager to lead our efforts in securing and executing exceptional corporate events for our brand. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with corporate clients, managing the entire sales cycle, and ensuring memorable event experiences that exceed expectations. Your enthusiasm for event marketing and hospitality will drive revenue growth and elevate our venue’s reputation as a premier destination for corporate gatherings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend sales expertise with creative event planning, all while delivering outstanding customer service. This is NOT an entry level position. 5+ years of experience is required.
Duties & Expectations:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their event needs and preferences for all brand locations
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that align with client budgets and expectations for all brand locations
- Promote our venue’s amenities through targeted marketing strategies, including digital campaigns and direct outreach for all brand locations
- Upsell additional services such as catering, audiovisual equipment, decor, and entertainment to maximize revenue opportunities for all brand locations
- Coordinate with internal teams to plan and execute seamless events, including banquet setup, catering arrangements, and technical support for all brand locations
- Oversee event marketing efforts to attract new clients and increase repeat business through innovative promotional activities for all brand locations
- Manage budgets for each event, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality standards for all brand locations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client inquiries promptly and ensuring smooth event operations from start to finish for all brand locations
- Triple Seat, Positouch, Toast POS system reporting.
- Office/Administrative Duties
Mandatory Skills Required:
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while building long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in marketing strategies specific to events management and hospitality industries
- Ability to upsell services confidently to enhance client experiences and boost revenue
- Experience in event planning, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and timeline adherence
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Superior time management skills to juggle multiple events simultaneously without compromising quality
- Knowledge of contracts, budgeting, catering options, banquet operations, and hotel or restaurant experience preferred
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Organizational skills necessary for detailed event coordination and record-keeping
- Familiarity with fundraising or guest services is a plus for engaging diverse client groups
- Triple Seat, Positouch, Toast POS system knowledge a plus
