We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team.
32+ Hours Each Week
Thursdays: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Fridays: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Saturdays: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Sundays: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Armed Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises by proactively conducting surveillance, responding to incidents, and providing access control.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities.
- Provide access control and front door greeter duties
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security policies.
Requirements
- Class G Security License
- Previous security experience is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
