Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure floors, carpets, and surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality
- Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and debris effectively
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning stations as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to management for prompt resolution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services within commercial or environmental services settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
