Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service in a quick-service restaurant setting
- Operate POS systems such as Toast accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Prepare food items including pizzas, salads, and other menu offerings following food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy hours
- Support team members in food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with Toast is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and managing sales figures
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment is a plus for understanding inventory management and food industry standards
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
