Overview
We are seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic Bissinger's team at our NEW store at The Mall at University Town Center. In this role, you will introduce Sarasota to our amazing chocolate!
You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions.
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves effectively.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store cleanliness.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer interaction.
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays.

Store Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-9pm, Sunday 11am-6pm.
