Kindergarten Teacher Assistant
My Child's Dreams School is looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher Assistant to join our team!
As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with our Kindergarten Teacher to help teach and support a small class of 8 students. Because we are a private school, our small class sizes allow you to build meaningful relationships with each child and provide individualized attention.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Kindergarten Teacher with daily classroom activities.
- Help students with learning, classwork, and hands-on activities.
- Supervise children during classroom, outdoor play, and snack/lunch times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive learning environment.
- Encourage good behavior and support children's social and emotional development.
- Communicate professionally with staff and parents when needed.
Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education courses in high school or have experience working with young children.
- Must be patient, dependable, and enjoy working with children.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
