POSITION SUMMARY
Volvo Gilbert is seeking a professional, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the Service Department, providing exceptional service while coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and provide professional service experience.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
- Prepare repair orders and provide service recommendations and estimates.
- Communicate recommended maintenance and repairs clearly to customers.
- Obtain customer authorization before performing additional work.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding repair status, costs, and completion times.
- Coordinate with Technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Review completed repairs and invoices with customers.
- Recommend maintenance based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
- Schedule service appointments and assist with customer transportation needs.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage long-term service retention.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Meet established customer satisfaction, sales, and performance goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical automotive workplace conditions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous automotive service advisor or dealership experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes is preferred.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a commission-based position.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Dependable and team oriented.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently move between the service drive, customer areas, and service department.
- Ability to use computers, phones, and dealership systems throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely perform duties in an active automotive service environment
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced service environment.

- Compensation: $50,000+ per year (Commission-Based)
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM | Saturday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
