Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics skills, ensuring that vehicles are maintained in optimal condition. This position requires a commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism on the road.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks and tow trucks, to transport goods to various locations.
- Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage conflicts effectively while on the road or at delivery sites.
- Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
- Operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks as required.
- Willing to work out of state., or out of town for a few weeks.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Experience in conflict management to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Prior experience operating flatbed trucks or tow trucks is a plus.
