Warehouse/Delivery Driver
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the warehouse and delivery functions.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
1. Drive a vehicle in a company capacity following all requirements as directed in the Company Vehicle policy.
2. Receive and fill orders from the field for contract, HVAC projects.
- Store all materials and equipment that are received in their proper place as directed by the Shop Foreman.
- Check all material bins for inventory on a regular basis and notify appropriate staff to replace items that are used frequently as directed by the Shop Foreman.
3. Assist manager with charging inventory to correct jobs and processing credits for damaged or unused inventory.
- Return unused materials to warehouse inventory or to the supplier for credit as directed by the Shop Foreman.
4. Stock inventory as orders arrive in the warehouse.
- Receive and check in freight as it arrives. Verify orders are complete as instructed by the Shop Foreman.
5. Keep work area clean and organized
- Clean warehouse and outside yard at the end of each shift or as needed.
- Take any trash out that has been left by the cleaning crew.
6. Follow other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related responsibilities requested by the supervisor.
7. Operate motorized equipment such as balers, forklifts or chain lifts.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Clean driving record.
- General knowledge of HVAC parts preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, time management skills and organizational skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Pass a drug and physical capacity test

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Exerts up to 35 pounds of force frequently. Up to 50lbs semi-regularly. Required walking or standing to a significant degree; or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls.
