ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing and removing billboard advertisements.
- Inspect/Maintaining billboard structures.
- Inspects truck and equipment for safety hazards.
- Driving company vehicles to sign sites.
- Sets up ladders and safety equipment to climb signs.
- Assist in construction of new billboard structures.
- Maintaining properties: Cutting brush/weeds as needed.
- Use power/manual tools; must adhere to all safety regulations.
- Attend safety meetings as required.
- Maintain vehicles; tools, equipment and machinery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Good communication skills. Ability to speak and read English fluently.
- Must be willing to work and get along well with others.
- Ability to comply with OSHA and Reagan safety standards while performing work.
- Welding experience or ability to learn a plus.
- Ability to learn and follow instructions correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ability to work from ladders and carry a ladder and/or other tools to the worksite from vehicle.
- Physically capable to preform assigned tasks.
- Ability to climb heights and work at heights above ground safely.
- Ability to navigate confined areas.
- Skills in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation is required.
- Previous experience working at heights up to 100 ft. is a plus.
- The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather.
- The physical demands for this position include lifting, pulling, pushing, positioning ladders, ropes, pulleys, heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) extensive bending and climbing, sitting less than 50% of the time, standing and stooping.
- Good perception and peripheral vision.
- On-call shifts may be required.
