Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable LTL Cargo Van Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. This position pays a starting rate of .42cpm loaded only. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or cargo van for local route driving, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, maintaining proper weight distribution.
- Deliver packages and freight to customers’ locations accurately and on schedule, providing friendly and professional customer service at each stop.
- Verify shipment contents against delivery manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each load.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation; report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow designated routes and schedules diligently, adjusting as necessary based on traffic or delivery priorities.
- Complete all required documentation, including delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports with attention to detail.
Experience
- Prior experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly preferred, especially with route driving involving heavy lifting and moving goods.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, with familiarity in load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and operate a box truck safely.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving cargo.

Requirements
- Valid Drivers License with no revocations or suspensions within last 3 years
- Clean Driving Record
- 3 Yrs Verifiable Driving Experience with Pickups, Cargo Van or Box Trucks
- Must Pass Background and Drug Test
- Ability To lift 65-70lbs, Reach, Bend.
- Assist inLoading and Unloading of freight if necessary
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
