Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated ORT (Over-the-Road/Regional) Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our growing delivery team. In this role, you will safely operate a box truck to transport freight across assigned regional routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road while still maintaining structured routes and consistent schedules. A strong work ethic, attention to safety, and professional customer service are key to success in this role.
Duties
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck (manual or automatic) on regional routes
- Transport freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and route documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as staging freight, organizing loads, and inventory movement when needed
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Non-CDL)
- Previous box truck, delivery, or regional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as required for loading and unloading
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, load locks, and basic freight securement
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Manual transmission experience is a plus but not required (training available)
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
