Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash register accurately, handling transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilize POS system for order processing and payment management.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drinks and overall experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; knowledge of cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Basic understanding of retail math for managing cash register operations effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in conversation while multitasking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
