Duties
- Assist epoxy flooring technicians with surface preparation, including cleaning, grinding, and sanding floors to ensure optimal adhesion
- Support the setup of tools, equipment, and materials needed for flooring installation and restoration projects
- Help with the installation of tiles, trims, fixtures, and cabinetry as required during renovation tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders, buffing machines, caulking guns, and other equipment essential for flooring work
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential!
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in flooring or carpentry work
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus; willingness to develop these skills on the job
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights if necessary
- Experience in related fields such as tile laying, water damage restoration, or general remodeling is advantageous
