- Cash Flow Monitoring: Audit daily cash drops and maintain precise records of all cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist the General Manager in preparing weekly and monthly financial packets in compliance with management company standards and municipal reporting guidelines.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly investigate and resolve any cash drawer variances, POS errors, or inventory valuation discrepancies.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting clerk experience, preferably within the golf, hospitality, or restaurant industry.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with accounting software and POS systems (experience with golf management software or restaurant POS systems is highly advantageous).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing precise, daily financial reconciliations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with department heads (Golf Pro, Executive Chef, Restaurant Director).
- The "Golf" Factor: A golf enthusiast who understands golf course operations or simply loves the culture of the game will find themselves right at home in our office and enjoy the benefits of free golf and access to many of our sister courses.
