Little People Daycare School of Columbia, a Keystone Star Center, provides daycare services and developmental programs for children from birth to twelve years of age.
Requirements for the position include:
- Documented experience with young children
- Experience in administration and personnel supervision
- Willing to assist in classroom when needed
- Must be enthusiastic and motivated
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood or elementary education
- Must have valid PA certificate for Pre-K - 4
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Assist in monitoring daily staffing patterns, assume classroom responsibilities or fill in for staff in the classroom in accordance with DHS staff ratios
- Assist with tours and inquiries
- Initiate and be able to carry out plans for solving problems and dealing with emergencies
- Provide on-going daily communication to parents
